Convinced you don’t have time to coach?

When managers and leaders tell you they don’t have time to coach what they are really telling you is they don’t know how to coach and don’t have the process or skills to coach. Saying they don’t have time is an erroneous position to take… They are allowing the ‘tyranny of the urgent’ to get in the way of the important of the day. Committing to the discipline of coaching helps leaders and managers find more time. Their people will perform at a higher level, have more confidence in themselves and some of the decisions they come to you for they are now solving independently.
