John Estes

John Estes has over 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, and coaching, with over 15 years dedicated to learning and development. John’s focus over the past five years has been conducting leadership development programs and communications styles workshops for a variety of clients as an independent consultant. These workshops have consistently improved work relationships and increased individual and team production.

The majority of John’s career was in the staffing industry, with over 24 years at Robert Half as a recruiter, salesperson, and sales manager, and director of training. John also has a variety of work experience for many well-known organizations, to include the U.S. Air Force (five year veteran, signals intelligence), IBM, Disney (college program), Hilton, and UPS (Teamsters Union member), and Amazon (Amazon Health Services), as well as smaller staffing companies and a local medical research firm.  These experiences enable him to bring considerable real-world examples to the programs and workshops he facilitates. 

In addition to sales and coaching, John has led multiple technology rollouts and initiatives, across the U.S. and Canada, to include a North American rollout of Salesforce.

John has certifications with Integrity Selling and Integrity Coaching, Communications Styles using DiSC (Everything DiSC Workplace), Inside Out Coaching, and Virtual Facilitation with ATD (Association for Talent Development). John lives in Tulsa, OK with his wife Nancy, and enjoys walking his three small dogs, cooking, golf, playing pool, and serving in leadership at his church.
